At ESS Universal – HeavyDutyBunkBeds.com, we believe a good night’s rest can make all the difference.
That’s why we created Bunks of Hope – an initiative dedicated to providing safe, durable sleeping spaces where they’re needed most.
Our first project brought that mission to Beit CURE Hospital in Zambia, where families often stay alongside their children throughout treatment and recovery. This hospital is part of CURE International. CURE’s mission is to provide life-changing surgical care in a compassionate, Christ-centered environment at no cost to patients.

When we learned that the family lodging area at Beit CURE needed new institutional beds and mattresses, we saw an opportunity to do more than donate a product. We saw an opportunity to support the hospital, serve families, and help create a space where they could find comfort and rest.
With the donation of new commercial bunk beds and mattresses, the hospital was able to double the number of family members it could accommodate, while providing a safe, comfortable, and quiet place to sleep. That means more parents can stay close to their children throughout the healing process offering comfort, encouragement, and support when it’s needed most.
This project is about more than furniture. It’s about walking alongside families as they experience life-changing surgery, receive compassionate care, and hear the hope of the Gospel. It’s a reflection of the mission at the heart of both CURE International and ESS Universal – HeavyDutyBunkBeds.com serving people with excellence, compassion, and purpose.
We’re incredibly grateful to every customer who chooses to partner with us. Whether our heavy duty bunk beds are used in family lodging, shelters, ministries, summer camps, employee housing, or other group-living environments, we understand that every bed serves a person, and every person deserves a safe and dignified place to rest.
Because of your trust in our company, we’re able to extend our mission beyond the customers we serve every day and invest in communities around the world through Bunks of Hope.
This is only the beginning. We look forward to continuing to create spaces that bring comfort, dignity, and hope one bed, one family, and one community at a time.
