Why isn’t there pricing on your website?
At ESS, we are committed to providing superior products at competitive prices. We desire to work with you, and see ourselves as partners in your success. Our sales staff is trained to provide the absolute best pricing available based upon quantities, and styles ordered – request a quote today.
How long will it take to get my furniture?
Deliveries will be made within 5 – 7 business days of payment. If your order is ‘custom’ it will typically be delivered within 10 – 12 weeks, but we always do our best to advise you of any delays.
Do you ship to individuals?
Yes, we can sell to anyone. Whether it’s an order for [ 1 ] Bunk Bed or [ 1,000 ], we can take care of you.
What are my shipping options?
Product will be delivered by an LTL [ less than truckload ] truck. Product is palletized and will be removed from the truck by liftgate and lowered onto your driveway. Delivery can be scheduled to a specific time, and a signature may be required. Note: It is the client’s responsibility to transport the product into their facility, & dispose of the wooden pallet. Leadtime: 3 – 5 business days.
Drop ship is the least expensive option. With drop ship, a freight carrier will deliver merchandise to your facility’s address. You or your staff will be required to unload the trailer from the curbside or loading dock; no equipment is provided. Note that most carriers limit your unload time to two hours; additional charges may be added if your unload time exceeds two hours. ESS will communicate directly with the freight carrier and with you, the client, to ensure a smooth delivery. Leadtime: ~3 months
How is freight calculated?
ESS Universal bids out the specific shipment through a variety of freight carrier networks. We choose the lowest price and pass the lowest cost on to you.
Will I be able to get an appointment for delivery?
Yes, you will receive a phone call ~1 day prior, to schedule a specific window [ 4 hours ] for the product to be delivered. You will need be on-site to sign for the delivery.
Why is payment required prior to delivery?
As we typically delivery your order within 5 – 7 days of payment, we have found it simplest to receive payment in-full, vs. a down payment.
Do products meet flammability requirements?
Yes, our mattresses meet 16 CFR 1632 + 1633 [ Open Flame ] requirements.
Are ESS’ beds and mattresses bed bug resistant?
Yes, at ESS universal all metal bed frames are manufactured with full seam welds on all four sides of the tubing. The mattresses are ‘seamless’ again not allowing a bed bug to make residence. Mattresses are also machine washable.
How do I clean the mattresses?
The hypoallergenic water-resistant foam mattress cover can be either wiped with a damp soapy cloth, or removed entirely and rinsed in a wash-machine.
Where can I see your furniture?
ESS has Satisfied customers all over North America, and we would be happy to coordinate a visit between you and a satisfied client nearby. In most instances, ESS can sell you a ‘demo model’ for you to review/test in person. We also have a number of client installation photos and testimonials we are happy to share.
What is the warranty?
ESS universal products are designed for high commercial [ & residential use ]. Our warranties are designed to cover any manufacturer defects on all goods provided. ESS also provides a [ 3 ] year structural warranty on all metal frames.
Is assembly required?
Yes, some assembly is required. Note: Our Bunk Bed is only [ 8 ] Parts, and can be assembled in just 20 minutes. It is recommended that two person(s) assemble each product together. Allen wrenches and/or power tools are recommended for quick assembly.
What body weight/size can your furniture support?
Each bed platform is rated at 500 lbs. except for the Dallas triple bunk bed. We rate each triple platform at 400 lbs.
Can I use a credit card?
Yes, ESS accepts all major credit cards; However we must add a 3% processing fee to your order; For no additional fee(s) we accept checks and or bank wire transfers.
